Intro to Keyboard Camp
Summer Music Introduction to Keyboard for 6 1/2 to 8 year olds

Our pre-keyboard adventure class
• Captures children’s interest in playing the music they love to sing
• Eases the transition from auditory musical awareness to abstract music reading and performance
• Promotes the development of listening acuity & aural memory
• Provides movement experiences vital to the development of musicality, fine motor development, and cognition

Your child will experience the joy of
 • Exploring the keyboard, patterning, and improvising
• Beginning to play songs we love to sing
• Drumming -- learning techniques and rhythms
• Cooperating with friends while playing in ensembles
• Traveling the world -- celebrating music, folk dances & cultures

Summer 2020 Adjustments Made in Response to Covid 19

75-minute daily classes, meeting on Zoom until further notice, materials included.
A keyboard or piano must be available to your child in order for the student to participate
(keyboard apps will not be viable tools for this class)..

Three 5-day camps from which to choose:
Monday, June 15 - Friday, June 19 -- 1:00 - 2:15 pm
Monday, July 6 - Friday, July 10 -- 3:00 - 4:15 pm
Monday, July 20 - Friday, July 24 -- 1:00 - 2:15 pm

Early bird before May 15 -- $ 185, After May 15 -- $199

Please note: Per our policies, missed camp days cannot be refunded. However, we are happy to make up missed camp days during a different camp session if any openings are available.
